This paper described the techniques to protect the leakage of anastomosis in esophagogastrostomy at the neck.
The cautious techniques to protect anastomotic leakage is ; 1) When there are not the connection between right gastroepiploic vessel with left gastroepiploic vessel, it is better that the amount of large omentum shall be reserved as possible as. 2) It is important that for the preservation of blood circulation at the submucosa of anastomosis, the intestinal clamp do not be applicated. 3) We use two-layer manual anastomosis. In this anastomosis, the needle using the inner mucosa to mucosa sutures shall be insert into inner circular rnuscle layer. This technique minimized the possibility of miner laeakage.
