SURGICAL EDUCATION IN MEDICAL SCHOOL

Progress of medicine and technology is quick. Accumulation of knowledge is immnese and advancement of surgical technologies is vast.
Curriculum and methods of surgical education in medical school should be modified accordingly.
Our society has not actively participated in surgical education in medical schooi but considering the importance of surgical education in medical school for the future of surgery and surgical practice, and society (JSS) should more actively participate in surgical education for medical students by starting a special committee for this particular purpose within the society.
A disirable curriculum in surgical education in medicai school is presented.
