Nonthyrnic malignant tumors of the mediastinum are quite rare. Primary mediastinal malignant lymphomas, malignant mediastinal neurogenic tumors, and primary malignant mediastinal mesenchymal tumors are reviewed and discussed in terms of the problems in their treatment.
