A OPERATIVE CASE OF MEMBRANOUS OBSTRUCTION OF THE HEPATIC PORTION OF THE INFERIOR VENA CAVA ASSOCIATED WITH HEPATOCELLULAR CARCINOMA

A operative case of membranous obstruction of the hepatic portion of inferior vena cava associated with hepatocellular carcinoma was presented. The patient was 36 years old male.
Transcardiac membranotomy by means of finger fracture technique for the obstruction of hepatic portion of the inferior vena cava and wedge resection of the liver for the hepatoma were performed. 27 cases of membranous obstruction of the hepatic portion of the inferior vena cava associated with hepatocellular carcinoma were previously reported in.Japan, but all cases were autopsy.
