A case of an arteriosclerotic aneurysm of the thoracoabdominal aorta was reported.
The patient, 54-year-old female, complaining of lumbago, was successfully treated by insertion of the graft inside the aneurysm and reattachment of visceral branch origins directly to an opening in the graft wall. The post operative course was uneventful.
Thoracoabdominal aortic aneurysms involving the renal, superior mesenteric, and celiac arteries reported in Japan were reviewed, and their operative procedures were discussed.
