EFFECT OF VAGOTOMY ON LIVER FUNCTION

The effect of various vagotomy at gastrectomy to liver function was examined by means of preoperative and post-operative check of hepatic blood flow.
1) Additional experiment was carried out in dogs to observe hepatic blood flow.
2) The total vagotomy dogs showed significant drop of liver blood flow after operation was performed,and recovery after 6 weeks post op. showed also some delay.
