With the Ultrasonic Digital Simultaneous Tomogram Method, it becomes possible to recognize respectively the various degrees of images due to the different strength of their echo levels and thus, to demonstrate the ultrasonic intensity of gall stone echoes in a form of the different gray scale echography (Part 1). Studing the ultrasonic intensity of gall stone echoes by this method, following results were observed.
1. The ultrasonic intensity of echoes of cholesterol calculus is stronger than that of bilirubin calculus.
2. The ultrasonic intensity of gall stone echoes is affected by the content of calcium in the gall stone.
3. It is confirmed experimentally that the size, surface condition and the form of gall stones concerns with the intensity of their echoes.
