I. ANGIOLOGICAL STUDY ON THE RESECTED STOMACH OF THE GASTRIC ULCER AND GASTRITIS
II. ANGIOLOGICAL STUDY ON THE RESECTED STOMACH OF THE GASTRIC CANCER

4 was injected into the arteries of the fresh resected stomach which was removed surgically from the patients suffering from gastritis, gastric ulcer and cancer. Supersoft roentgenogram of the specimen was taken and the film was printed by enlargement. The angiological pictures were classified and were compared to the histological findings.
Even in cases with severe erosion of gastritis, vascular change could not be detected.
In cases of gastric ulcer the changes parallel with the angiological pictures in each stage of acute, subchronic and chronic stages, were observed. Gastric ulcer in early and acute stages is thought to be caused by the circulatory disturbance of the local vessels according to the angiological findings. Angiological picture in the subchronic stage showed the progress of the vascular change. Changes in the chronic stage could be classified into 5 types according to the angiological pictures.
Angiological pictures of the gastric cancer were divided according to the Ballman's Classification. According to the author's result Ballman's 3rd Type was more clearly defined as the "Uebergangs Form" of the other 3 Types. Moreover, new proliferation of vessels is important for the development of the tumor as the source of nourishment. This finding is opposed to that of the gastric ulcer.
In cases of ulcer-carcinoma, especially in cases with complete condition of the ulcer-carcinoma advocated by Hansel, angiological picture also showed the diphasic nature.
