Yasuhisa KOHZU

The author may herewith introduce the influence of the autonom-stimulating or blocking medicaments on serum cholinesterase before and after operation. Hereby tested adrenaline, pilocarpin and acetylcholin as stimulant, and T.E.A.B., Imidalin as inhibitory agents, and Vagostigmin, DEP as inhibitory factor against ch-E.
1) Serum cholinesterse (s-ch E) showed some decrease by adrenaline and increase by pilocarpin.
2) Administration of acetylcholin caused increas of serum cholinesterase. In T-tomized cases, the author failed to find enough ratio of ch-E increase as found before T-tomy. It is clear from them that T-tomy may cause bio-reactive choline activation or humoral altration of T-tomied bodies toward choline-sensitive resp. cholinergic condition.
3) Administration of T.E.A.B, and Irnidalin caused certain increase of s-ch E.
4) S-ch E is clearly inhibited by administration of Vagostigmine and DFP, specially apparent by the latter.
