ON THE RECORDING METHOD OF CIRCULATING CONDITION OF THE EXTREMITIES
Factors which are essential for many-sided and continuous observation of circulatory condition of the extremities were studied. Especially, a clinically simple method by which relatively less stimuli are given to the area of examination, was discussed. Furthermore, recording methods of various types of pulse wave and volume change were specially discussed.
Recording system of oscillometry, pressure pulse wave of the superficial arteries, volume change and volume pulse wave of the finger- and toe-tips or trunk part of the body were investigated. These studies were applied for investigation of detection of arterial occlusion, grade of tonus of the vasomotor nerve, existence of vasospastic condition, effect of vasodilator drugs, and changes caused by exogenous stimuli and posture changes of body and extremities in man.
