Primary open colostomy with immediate mucotaneous sutures, originated by Butler (1952) and by Lemmer ＆ Mehnert (1954) was represented and discussed from the result of the author's cases. A couple of modifications of mucotaneous suture were described to secure the complete healing of the wound.
