Masahiko TSUNODA

On the bases of the laboratory investigations (Part. II) homo-and hetro-graftspreserved in pure and 70% alcohol have been transplanted into nine human subjects with the results which are very promising.
The auther used homografts preserved in pure alcohol in 3 cases and in the other 3 cases in 70% alcohol.
In the remaining 3 cases, the author used heterografts obtained from dogs and stored in 70% alcohol.
It is of great significance that the transplantation of heterograft preserved in alcohol proved to be as successful as that of homograft preserved in a living condition, thus enabling to simplify a practical use of transplantation of artery.
