INTRACARDIAC REPAIR OF TETRALOGY OF FALLOT: SPECIAL REFERENCE TO AN AUTOLOGOUS PERICARDIAL VALVED PATCH TO THE RIGHT VENTRICULAR OUTFLOW TRACT

Since 1968 we have applied an autologous pericardial valved patch for reconstruction of the right ventricular outflow tract in patient with severe tetralogy of Fallot, and its early and late results have been satisfactorily.
In this paper we presented the details of preparing the valved patch and the operating techniques of the patients with severe tetralogy of Fallot using the valved patch.
Various problems of the intracardiac repair of this cardiac lesion were also discussed.
