SURGICAL TREATMENT FOR A SACCULAR ANEURYSM OF THE SUPRARENAL ABDOMINAL AORTA DUE TO NONSPECIFIC ARTERITIS.

A case of a saccular aneurysm of the suprarenal abdominal aorta was reported.
The patient, 43-year-old male, complaining of lumbago, was successfully treated by patch closure of the aneurysmal neck, who took the favorable course after surgery. His aneurysm was considered to be caused by nonspecific arteritis.
Saccular aneurysms of the suprarenal abdominal aorta reported in Japan were reviewed, and their causes and surgical treatments for them were discussed.
Abdominal aortic aneurysms due to nonspecific arteritis were also discussed.
