CLINICAL STUDIES ON ATOXIC SPLENOMEGALY
A clinical investigation into the, anamnesis symptoms, blood and bone marrow, liver function, portal pressure, and the immediate and follow up results of splenectomy in 41 cases of atoxic splenomegaly (Tomoda) showed that these cases resembled in many respects those of splenopathic toxicosis (Tomoda).
An etiological consideration of atoxic splenomegaly was carried out and some factors which might be causative were discussed but no definite conclusion was obtained.
